Immersion Programs are a designed to introduce Chinese students to American culture and education. SPIRAL collaborates with partner schools in the US who are interested in hosting small groups (usually between 20 and 30) of students on their campus. These visiting students pay to visit the U.S. and shadow students at the host schools for less than three hours per day, usually in the morning. In the afternoons, visiting students visit local sites, take college tours and hang out with their host families in the evening. SPIRAL works closely with the host school to support the integration of the visiting students for one or two weeks into the daily flow of the U.S. school. These programs are perfect for introducing U.S. schools to international student exchanges.
