FWSU Superintendent Ned Kirsch to Lead Spiral Delegation Across China in Nov. 2018

From Franklin West Supervisory Union, the 5-member group will include Ned Kirsch, Superintendent; John Tague, 7-12 Principal at BFA; and Rachel McIntyre, Director of Student Support Services. From Champlain Valley Union High School, the group will include Katherine Riley, Director of Curriculum and Instruction; and Garett MacCurtain, Humanities Instructor.

Sponsored & organized by Spiral International, the group hopes to form & establish additional sister-school relationships with partner schools in China. The goals of these partnerships are to foster cross-cultural understanding, acceptance and collaboration through ongoing projects such as long-term exchange programs, short-term immersion & summer camp programs, online exchanges & cooperation, and curriculum & professional development exchanges & opportunities.

Check back next month for a re-cap & summary of the experience from the group members themselves.
