Helping Vermont Students Experience Chinese Culture

This fall, SPIRAL International has launched its new “Chinese Culture Club” in schools in Vermont. Clubs at Swanton Elementary School (Missisquoi Valley School District) and Hunt Middle School (Burlington School District) have been learning about Chinese culture, history, popular games and sports, and language through fun and interactive after-school activities. They have also had the opportunity to make friends with peers in China through the educational video platform Flipgrid.
Chinese Culture Club is a fun exploration of Chinese culture and language that exposes students to topics and ideas outside of their regular classes, and gives them an opportunity to engage with and learn from students in China on a one-to-one basis. Look out for more opportunities for your students in the near future!
