Chinese students learn about Native American life and history

A visit to Mashantucket Pequot Museum, the world’s largest Native American museum.

Zexin Lin and Lihao Zhou (better known at Tim and Marby) recently visited this Connecticut museum which offers permanent exhibitions about the Ice Age in North America, the arrival of native peoples, daily life in a Pequot village, and the devastation caused by the arrival of the Europeans. Visitors can immerse themselves in 20,000 years of the history of the area illustrated by life-size dioramas, films, and interactive computer programs.

The boys ended the day at a Chinese buffet with Shalimar Wuyke (Spiral’s student service coordinator in New London).
