After the first phase of the cooperation between SPIRAL International and Xiang Jiang High School, the delegation from Xiang Jiang High School visited the East Lyme School District as well as several colleges and universities in New England between September 29 and October 8, 2013.
The Vice President of SPIRAL International, Dr. Emily Guo hosted the delegation, along with the Principal of East Lyme High School, Dr. Jim Lombardo. The delegation had a formal conference with the leadership team of East Lyme School District about plans for the second and third phases of EL-XJ program development to map out a five-year strategic development plan.
SPIRAL International also organized a field trip for the delegation to the colleges that collaborate with East Lyme High School and other secondary and higher education institutions on the East Coast.
The delegation returned to China, and they’re looking forward to SPIRAL and East Lyme’s visit early next year!
