SPIRAL International is seeking an experienced, dynamic Office Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in downtown Burlington and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include:

  • General office administrative and clerical duties (answering phone calls, serve as point of contact for internal and external clients, organize and schedule appointments, making and updating contacts lists, submit and reconcile expense sheets, plan meetings and take minutes, assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, making travel arrangements, copying and collating, filing (electronic and paper), responding to emails/inquiries, handling incoming and outgoing mail, maintain office supply inventories, payroll & insurance assistance, assisting the management team, etc.)

Additional responsibilities may lead to:

  • Assistance with overseas teacher recruiting
  • Assistance with overseas trip development and marketing
  • Website maintenance & content development

Requirements:

  • BA/BS preferred; Associate degree, Administrative Assistant certification or relevant experience minimum
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills with a clear attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient keyboarding skills
  • Ability to think independently and act collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal: mandatory
  • Positive, can-do, Team Player attitude: essential
  • Willingness to learn & grow in a personal as well as global context: indispensable

Advantageous:

  • International/China experience
  • Experience with basic payroll, insurance and recruiting assistance
  • Marketing/PR experience
  • Website/online-content development experience
  • Familiarity with international travel visa application procedures
  • Multi-lingual

This position will be part-time to begin, but will feature the possibility of expanding to full-time very rapidly, depending on performance and fit.
