In June, SPIRAL launched an online Chinese language pilot program that brought international students and teachers together. Over 40 students signed up to participate in this program which was designed for learners at the very beginning level. Students worked with a team of Chinese native-speaking teachers from China, Canada and the U.S. to take their first steps toward learning a language spoken by over a billion people worldwide
This pilot program, which recently ended, had a highly positive response from participants. Following this success, we are offering two language programs this Fall so students can build their language skills: Have Fun with Chinese and Learn Chinese and Travel to China.
